2. National Waterway GIS Network and System Develoopment, Funded by U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, 1997-2001, principal investigator.  Maintaining navigable waterway GIS network and developing Internet/GIS applications to disseminate import/export data.

3. Application of GIS to Ingram Barge Strategic and Tactical Needs, Funded by Ingram Barge Company, 1999-2002, principal investigator.  Development of visual asset management system using advanced information technologies.

Transportation Risk Communication: Customer Needs and Enabling Tools, CRESP2 Program, Funded by U.S. Department of Energy, 2000-03, principal investigator.  Identifying customer transportation risk communication needs and developing information tools to serve these needs in a timely and appropriate manner.
