Gobbell Hays Partners, Inc., an architectural, engineering, and environmental consulting firm, is a recognized leader in dealing with hazards in the built environment. Mr. Hays graduated from Vanderbilt University, Nashville, Tennessee, in 1973 with a bachelor of engineering degree in chemical engineering. Mr. Hays is a certified industrial hygienist. After working for E.I. DuPont, he joined Gobbell and Associates. GHP has provided consulting services for over 10,000 facilities. Mr. Hays has served as Chairman of the National Institute of Building Sciences (NIBS) Board of Directors and was a consultant to NIBS for the development of two documents: "NIBS Guidance Manual: Asbestos Operations and Maintenance Work Practices," and "Lead-Based Paint Operations and Maintenance Work Practices Manual". He is co-author of two books, Settled Asbestos Dust: Sampling and Analysis (1994) and Indoor Air Quality: Solutions and Strategies, (1995). |
