Dr. Ganapathi is currently working as Principal Engineer at Bechtel Jacobs, Oak Ridge, TN. Prior to this, as part of the Iraq Infrastructure Reconstruction Program (IIRP) managed by Bechtel under the USAID, he completed a 22-month assignment in Iraq as Startup & Training Manager for the startup of water & wastewater treatment systems. Dr. Ganapathi has a Ph.D. in Civil/Environmental Engineering from the Oklahoma State University, and is a nationally recognized expert in bioremediation, with more than 30 years of project management and functional management experience in water / wastewater treatment, decommissioning & decontamination (D&D), hazardous waste regulations, treatment, transportation, disposition & management. As an Adjunct Professor at UT Knoxville and ETSU, Johnson City, TN, he has been teaching graduate level environmental courses on Hazardous Wastes Management and Physicochemical Treatment since 1990. |
