Professor Sanchez specializes in multi-scale experiments and modeling of the durability and performance of nano-structured, composite, cement-based materials under various environmental conditions, mechanical stresses, and weathering forces; nanomodification of cementitious materials; and fate and transport of contaminants in porous media.
